Small campground with decent space between pitches but it appears to also be a parking lot for government pickup trucks at the north end. Great location for exploring Red Rocks.
If you need a dump station, Lake Cachuma a little further north on 154 has three great and clean ones for $10.

Great little campground over the mountain from Santa Barbara in San Ynez valley. 20 minutes to Los Olivos or Solvang so nice location. Water was within walking distance from all sites. Olivos or Solvang so nice location. Water was within walking distance from all sites. Bathrooms were clean. Some big trees shade many sites, although we had a lot wasps attacking any meat we grilled. Good loop for riding bikes. Verizon cell worked, ATT had one bar.

Nice place to camp not far from Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean. Great views and not far from Solvang and Wine Country. Park access is on a winding rather steep at times road, but doable for RV's.
The National Forest campground like many others is ran by a concessionaire. Clean well manicured sites with dirt and grass. Paved interior road needs a lot of repair work. The Host at this small campground was very friendly.
The normal nightly camping fee is pretty high at $30, although I paid $15 with the America the Beautiful pass. There are clean flush toilets, trash service and water is available, but the campsites are barebones. While I may have given this campground a higher rating, $30 dollars is way too high for the facilities (but it is California). Also they don't have a RV Dump and you will have to travel 10 minutes to the State Park, pay a day use fee of $10 to use their less than desirable Dump.
