“Nice, quite, wooded campground.”

Sites are spread out with nice privacy. Sparse amenities. Vault toilets and hand pump water. Easy Creek and Pacific Crest Trail access. Some narrow roads but we had no trouble with our 34ft class A.

“Favorite with locals- busy!”

I used to live in the area, so have camped in this general area many times. Some beautiful scenery in the area. Campground is usually busy. Lots of boondocking in addition to the campground itself further up the mountain, but locals stake out the best sites early. And some of them party well into the night. Loudly. With guns. Never had any problems, but common sense may be required. Heavy use area, which means most boondocking sites will have ammo shells and a bit of trash on them. Too far off highway 14 to really be a good base for quick Columbia river gorge exploring, but if you’re in the area for awhile, it’s a slice of nice southwestern Washington forest land.
