Driving up here was lovely - lots of trees, so you are really disappointed when you get here, and there are no trees and the RV park is pretty desolate looking (no trees, just gravel). The lake itself is really nice and large, and you can catch fish from the shore or rent a boat from them and catch them in the lake. They stock three types of trout, and they have a fish cleaning table/sinks for your use.
The guy that checked us in neglected to give us a key card for the bathrooms, so we didn't realize that the bathrooms/showers needed a card until after they closed for the day. There are two playgrounds but note that one of them is pretty rickety - I thought my kids were going to destroy it by swinging on the one by the bathrooms. There was quite a bit of noise when we were there of people driving around their UTVs and quads.
The site was wide, but the spots are just really close together - good for your solar panels since there is no shade at all. I'm not really sure why it's so expensive since there aren't really any amenities, including no picnic table and no fire pit at the sites. Probably because it's in the middle of nowhere - the one redeeming quality was that the Internet connection was strong and fast, so maybe that's what you're paying for. The hooks ups worked well. The nearby general store, boutique store and Burger Barn was very convenient and had gas as well.

We stayed at Panguitch Lake Resort from May 4th through May 7th. Since this was during the Covid-19 pandemic, the restaurant, store and restrooms were all closed. Therefore, we were unable to check them out. However, from what we did see, everything looked very clean and well kept.
When arriving at the park, the signage left a little to be desired. There was no sign on the driveway directing visitors to the office. There was a circular RV turnaround on the right side of the driveway, just prior to the office. We chose to park there, which was a good idea. The driveway leading to the office dead ends into the lake without adequate turnaround area for vehicles towing a trailer.
The check in process was effecient and staff was friendly.
The spaces are a roomy 45' X 18'. This allowed for pulling out awnings and setting out tables and chairs. The utilities looked fairly new and in good working order. There were no picnic tables or fire pits at the sites. Some of the sites have newer gravel on them, while others were mostly dirt.
The campgound is located on the lake. The RV spaces are not lake front, but the lake is a short walk away with some shoreline available for fishing. There is also, a boat dock at the park. If you don't have a boat with you, this park rents out boats. The location was good for bird watching. There were lots of bluebirds, as well as hawks and eagles.
The location is somewhat isolated, which is good for getting away and relaxing. There are a number of national parks and monuments located anywhere from one to five hours away. Closer to the park is a nice paved drive around the entire lake. Also, Brian Head Ski Resort is less than an hour away. We were there to relax and not do much of anything except fish. We would like to return sometime to explore some of the nearby forest roads and see more of the beautiful Utah scenery.
Musserc would stay here again

Lakefront Cabin 614. We arrived late slept and left all the next day to visit Bryce. Got back after dark and the office was closed. Had no hot water and only a drizzle in the shower and bathroom. The next morning asked if there was maybe a discount because of non usable shower and bathroom sink. The very rude assistant manager said no because I should have let him know the day before even though the office was closed. Very rude and will not be staying again. The Management is young and really don;t care about customer service and not interested in satisfying anyone for return business. Very bad cell service and wifi only in the lodge. No cell or wifi at the cabins.
