Overall Rating

It seems that they have cracked down on RVs. The upper parking lot has signs specifically saying no RV or trailer overnight parking, subject to a $150 fine. Maybe they look the other way but we ended up at the Lyons Ferry KOA which was small but nice. Three large RVs showed up as we were leaving and they were at the KOA in the morning... more

We were confused about this place and thought it had spots for campers, but it only has tent camping there. Yes, it's beautiful! The falls are an amazing experience and if you are daring enough, you can go down to the bottom and swim in the falls! If you;re not daring there is another set of falls that is a easier to get to. Palouse Falls State Park is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so it's very convenient that there is well maintained campground on site next to the gorgeous 200 foot waterfall.
