Wonderful spot on the upper Madison river. $6w/senior pass, nice sites. Table and fire ring, nicely spaced. Did not have cell signal on my phone, but my hotpot got 2 bars with external antennas, 5meg, but good enough to do mail and other things like post this post.

The Madison River is footsteps away from most campsites and in the other direction beautiful views of the Gallatins. Easy access and the cleanest pit toilets I have ever used. One night stop over for us, but we would stay here again and again. Note: It was a bit windy and no cell service.

Very quiet and small campground with big sites nicely separated from neighbors. Beautiful views of river and bluff on other side. Only action is drift boats floating the Madison. Zero Cell. 1 clean vault toilet. There appeared to be a camp host but we didn’t see him/ her. Bear box storage in most sites.

Road in is very good brought a 38ft motorhome. Parked right at the river. Did see a black bear across the rivers on the hill. Will come here again. There are about 8 sites only 4 of them in use. We had no cellular service with Verizon. But it was great to be unplugged.

The good: Easy access. The vault tolet was kept clean. Good spot. The bad: ZERO cell service. Amazingly quiet and underutilized. The restrooms were spotless. We were very pleased to stay.
However, during the time we camped, there was no water available. Luckily we carry what we need.
