50/30 amp full hookup for $50 per night, 30 amp and water hook up for $25. Nice showers. The old restrooms in the asphalt area closed but that is part of the rebuild.
Also have tent camping with water and electric hookup.
Does it have its work in progress yes, but it also has its relaxing and de-stressing ability. Would definitely stay here again.
Oh yeah, also has gated entry with passcode, and wifi.

Great Park the sights are big will lots of concrete pads. The office hours run until 10:30pm which is convenient and beach access is at the park. At the moment the park has a 3 night maximum but that might be changed.

A block from the beach, park is not half full but staff did not let us know that there were options for either 30 or 50 amps and gave us the 50 amps for double the price… not really fair as we do not need nor requested 50 amps. also limited to 3 days, which is unfortunate

The park is undergoing some changes right now, they are soon going to eliminate the old section, also you can only stay 3 nights. Plans to rebuild pier and restaurant are in the works. We still enjoyed our stay with just a short walk to the beach and the temps were 75-80 all 3 days!!

I stay in an suv camper so my review is with that in mind mostly. It was December, 2022. Wind was 20-30 mph and temps were 50-60 deg F. I stayed in a tent spot near the bathhouse in the newer section. It was a very nice, level spot with electric, water, and picnic table. There are no trees, no poles, no coverings, so tents and tarps will have to be secured with very strong stakes and poles. If you need a better scenario for securing tarps with less wind, I’d suggest the older part that are closer to the dunes and they have covered picnic tables. BUT! The older pavement is not the greatest - plenty of potholes. Me, personally, prefer potholes over wind. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The location is great - right next to the beach. It is gated and wifi is included. Staff are friendly. It was priced very reasonably! I was in site F. Shower water was nice and hot with great pressure. Bathrooms were flush toilets. Being December, it was not crowded. I played at PINS but stayed at balli.

The annual pass which runs January to January is $12.00 and available at the pavilion at Padre Bali as well as local convenience stores. This enables you to legally stay in place for 3 nights in 21 days. The pass is honored on various beaches from north of Port Aransas to the National Seashore area. State and National parks are separate, the pass doesn't apply. Malaquite Campground has a dump station and potable water.

I was very happy with the $25 lot, only complaint would be that the pavement is old and as a result, walking around barefoot isn’t very comfortable. But still. I’ve paid more for a tent site that was further from the beach.
