“Peaceful and quiet hidden park on the water”

We really enjoyed this spot for a week. The park is north of the point shown here (31.578630539271515, -99.67724158791177) but signs are easy to follow when you turn onto Recreational Road 9. The sites were clean with garbage bins on all sites (some are near the water) and covered picnic tables on 8 sites. Pit toilets are near the entrance. You can pay nightly at the boat dock. It was unclear how long you can stay here but we stayed for 6 days. There was a large family of campers taking two sites and a solo truck camper here when we arrived on the weekend and a small family reunion for a few days during the week. They were all very quiet and despite being able to see them, we could barely hear them. Three bars of 3g Verizon service, no data really, but starlink worked well here. I imagine this spot is visited less than the other two south of the lake.
