Little nervous at first considering snow on the mountain behind me. Car camped easy enough with my kitty. Decent Verizon service. One to two bars depending. The view is spectacular hands down.

I van camped here in late March on a Saturday night. It was the third free site I checked - Moab is very busy already and paid sites are well over $80, which is ridiculous. I saw tent campers, trailers, and an RV here, so I don’t foresee any access troubles for anyone. There are 6-7 dedicated spots but you can probably squeeze in another couple. Some sites looked to be more level than others. I took a spot within the road’s loop since the outside spots were taken and I needed to level out a bit.
Two bars LTE with Verizon, things loaded well enough.
Great Spanish Valley views if you walk down the street a bit. Mt. Waas towers over from behind the sites! Pretty cool, but there is pretty consistent road noise. No bother to me but I know people like to avoid that!
Pretty far from town - 40ish minutes. No designated hiking trails that I found in this area (searched on AllTrails) are walkable from the site.

A steep grad up but not bad for our 30 ft travel trailer and parents class c motor home. Gravel instead of dirt with phone service but mostly beautiful views.

Just an open, flat area that I car camped in. Managed to get pretty decent AT&T service which was a plus. Came here on Christmas and there was no one else. Super quiet all might, and a gorgeous view to wake up to

If you are able to brave the beginning of La Sal Loop Road to reach this site you will be rewarded with expansive views of the Moab valley and La Sal Mountain range.
The entrance to this area is gravel without a drop off. There are 3 main camping areas, one directly off the road that would fit a medium size rig, the middle one that fits several larger rigs with a turn around and a third down a small road requiring 4X4. The middle area is the most level. All sites are full sun.
We received 4 bars of AT&T with 133 megabit download and 1.6 megabit upload. We received 2 bars of Verizon 4G with 13.5 megabit download and 0.1 megabit upload.
