The amenities were decent. The Hot Tub was broken the entire time we were there. Most of the guests were extremely kind to us that were around us. Many even stopped by to chat about different places to travel. The two gentlemen that checked us in were very nice as well .. One night we had a tweeter girl wake us up at 4:30 in the morning by banging on our door and then banging on other coaches and darting between them. We called 911 and let the office know. The office is aware of this girl according to the many people who stopped by throughout the day. Needless to say this was a terrible way to start our day… The next day before we were to check - there was a new man (afternoons) in a golf cart that came over to tell us that our kids needed to be watched at all times and that under constant supervision - as OUR KIDS WERE. We were outside with our kids while they played. The obeyed the 5 MPH (unlike many of the adults on their scooters and electric bikes) and we were sitting outside with them the entire time. Our kids moved to the side when people drove through (over the speed limit). However, this man had the audacity to tell us that we had too many kids (a bunch of other kids from somewhere else came over to the area). When I corrected him and told him multiple times they were not our children - he said “the older folk can’t see well and I don’t want your kids to get hurt and I don’t want to have to get the board involved or one of them to call.” First of all - those kids once again were not ours ( and I stated AGAIN that to him - when he asked who their parents were (the boys and girl were unable to tell him) they were all over the park unsupervised and second how rude to say you are going to involve the board. The next day he came back and talked to my husband - this time approaching him by reading the rules without even saying hello or introducing himself. When my husband told him “my kids are all inside - I don’t know whose children those are AND my wife already talked to you about this yesterday go find their parents” — he didn’t even apologize. NOT family friendly, NOT family oriented, NOT kind. If you are going to allow people to rent spaces for periods of time and have issues with children - then DON’T allow children. Also take a look at your customer service skills - this could have been handled better. We don’t know where the boy and girl came from - should have figured that out first if they were the problem.

Spaces are individually owned and controlled by an HOA so there are many rules. Pricey but that's what you pay for an upscale resort like this, we paid $350 including our Good Sam discount for 2 nights but had a spectacular site with an ocean and lighthouse view. The beach is a bit of a hike down the hill but beautiful, wide, sandy beach awaits that you could walk for miles! Nothing within walking distance for food, but Newport is only a few miles away by car, bike, taxi.

I would spend the extra money to get a beachfront lighthouse view site I think space 141 is the best in the park. The front desk people were great

According to their website, they do not allow Class B motorhomes. Shame
