We stayed in January for 2 weeks and truly enjoyed the camping and the city! Staff is always happy to help, they have a convenience store at the gas station and they have propane for exchange/ fill. The views are amazing!!

We loved how close it was to downtown Ouray and the hot springs. We stayed two nights on an extra wide riverfront side site and had plenty of room. Clean bathrooms, too!

Stayed and both the circle tree sites and pull through. Spots are close together with little landscaping. But it’s a beautiful place to stay with amazing views of the mountains and night sky. Sites closer to the road will hear trucks and motorcycles in the morning but it didn’t wake us up. Being able to walk along the river into town is a huge perk of the resort. We also rented in of their jeeps and had an amazing time on the trailer.

We liked staying here and would recommend it! There were a few issues with this particular cabin that I think would be trivial to fix long term.
First, the key wouldn't work in the deadbolt. We only locked the bottom lock. This should be fixed.
The loft area has only one outlet, which is fine except there is a nightstand lamp taking up one plug and a box fan in the other plug. The receptacle was behind the mattress, so that means that you had to wedge your hand in a crack to get something plugged in. The receptacle was worn out because anything you plugged in fell out right away. Aside from being annoying this means the connection isn't tight which can lead to overheating in the receptacle. So I would recommend changing the receptacle out and providing an outlet strip at the side of the bed so that you can plug in phone chargers or other item easily. Perhaps screw the power strip to the wall so items don't fall into the receptacles.
The cabin is very small and tight with limited storage and limited space for moving around. We knew this. However, it was a mystery to us that the futon, table, and 2 chairs were gigantic, weighed a lot, and were hard to move around. They look cool because they are made from logs and all, but they aren't practical. The futon was a pain to deploy and it has a center leg that everyone hit their toes on eventually. It would be better to have smaller profile furniture in such a tight space.
Finally, we didn't think the portable AC unit was doing much of anything at all. It blew semi-cold air if you were right in front of it but the cabin stayed warm. We found opening up the windows was more effective.
Aside from these very minor issues, we would recommend staying here. We loved having the river outside the door, even though it rained most of our stay.
Note: The hot water tank is only 5 gallons and there is a sign in the bathroom stating this. This was not an issue for us at all because we would keep the flow low and set the temp to "warmish" so we didn't run out.

We stayed on the river RV side of the resort and the stay was nice and peaceful. The river was in view of our site and it made it even better! The most important part we want to mention is their outstanding customer service! We have traveled all over the US along the South and Midwest and have not encountered better customer service post covid, than here. Many people lately just do the bare minimum, but here in Ouray, they go beyond expectation to ensure you are happy. We would recommend 100%! We plan to stay here in June again.

Great views. On the Uncompahgre River and River walk and Close to town. There is a great restaurant on site where very nice people serve delicious breakfast and dinner. Verizon cell service is great. Only drawbacks are that RV spaces and cabins are very close together and the park is close to the hwy.
