Ottawa State Fishing Lake

This spot actually has a lot of perks to it…

The lake is big enough for a lot of campers to pull in, find a spot, and at most places still feel some privacy. Spaces are far enough between each other.

This spot is also super close to town, which has a public pool, restrooms, and showers. All of which are very clean for community facilities.

Please be mindful when using to help keep them clean.

All in all this spot is awesome.

NOTE: in the summer It’s pretty humid around the lake.

Would definitely suggest u check out this campground. We stayed on a pull thru site next to the lake. A few fisherman and a couple of campers where there during our stay. There is a pit toilet located at entrance. No water so be sure bring some with u. Very quiet at night. During the day local fisher people drive thru but they are very friendly. Locals who camp there are a great source of information and local news. There are no Numbered sites but 3-4 of the sites are capable of accepting large rigs. We live in a 35’ 5th Wheel. Don’t miss the entrance turn...driving around the lake is scary. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is they have a cabin for rent ($60/night) with water. No reason they couldn’t run a line for a pump at the campground. Lake is very muddy, would not recommend swimming.
