Orin Junction Rest Stop 7-7-2022 this rest stop is open. They have 2 lanes to dump. There was a fresh water spigot on the left lane. There is an RV and truck lot with several spaces. I approached the rest stop from highway 18 and there was a sign that stated no overnight camping. They have a dog walking area (not fenced) and... more
Orin Junction Rest Stop
7-7-2022 this rest stop is open. They have 2 lanes to dump. There was a fresh water spigot on the left lane.
There is an RV and truck lot with several spaces. I approached the rest stop from highway 18 and there was a sign that stated no overnight camping.
They have a dog walking area (not fenced) and some picnic tables. There was a building but I didn’t go in.
Overall a nice place to stop for a break, a picnic and to dump and refill.

Sign stated dump station closed for the season however just the water was shut off so you can still dump.

*Previous reviewers said this rest stop was closed. As of August 2021 it's open again. Small highway rest stop. Only half a dozen or so spaces for big rigs so it would be in your best interest to get here by 5PM if you plan on spending the night. Small highway rest stop. Only half a dozen or so spaces for big rigs so it would be in your best interest to get here by 5PM if you plan on spending the night. Because it's so small and tight the semi trucks circle around very close to the other rigs. Not exactly conducive to a good night's sleep. But it'll do. The main reason I stayed here was so I could use the dump station in the morning.

Pull through dump & fresh water - for free. When you enter rest area, go to 'car/auto' section - you will pull around the human crapper building and the dump/water fill is on the opposite side of the building - closest to I-25.
