We like to stay here either coming or going to the Mojave Desert or Arizona. Comfortable, clean, and friendly. Located amongst the orange groves just east of Bakersfield. Around the corner from the entrance is a citrus food co-op and we stocked up with fabulous, sweet citrus. A little bit of Hwy 58 traffic noise at times.

Paved drives level gravel sites. Would be nicer if they had concrete patio for the picnic table. Had we not been on a time crunch, we would have stayed longer. If you're fueling up do it in Bakersfield, the station down off SR-58 is too expensive.

Almost every site in the park had at least one orange tree, which you are allowed to pick fruit if in season. The site is located just off Hwy 58 and about 6 miles or so East of Hwy 99. Even though we were close to Hwy 58, we didn't hear much noise. However we did hear an occasional Train horn in the distance, but that is something we don't mind at all and kind of like. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late and found after hours set up super easy. Sites perfectly level. Restrooms are modern and spotless. Easy-in /easy-out pull thru spaces. Check out in the am was a breeze. Definitely recommend this for an overnighter.

When the orange blossoms are blooming, the scent is heavenly.

We have stayed here twice as we traveled north through Bakersfield. The majority of the sites are pull through with orange trees in between each site. The check in was easy. We got there one time before closing and we got the code for the bathrooms and the second time we just showed up without a reservation after hours(so no code). There were envelopes posted on the outside of the office under a sign "Available Sites". We took an envelope, parked & paid the fee in the morning as we were leaving. Both stays we did not unhitch so we could leave quickly in the morning. There is a nice fruit stand nearby if you get there before 5 pm.
Another reviewer stated the train noise was bad but it did not bother us, the train was a mile off in the distance but it train noise bothers you stay at the west(left side as you pull into the RV Park)side of the park that should put you furthest away from the train.
When making the online reservation I did not see anywhere to put in a discount code(AAA, Good Sam, etc..)but when we checked out the second time & paid in person we got a AAA or Good Sam, cannot recall what they gave us, but it was about a 10% discount.

It is next to the hwy and train tracks so you will hear them both. We didn't use the gym but the laundry facilities are open 24 hrs a day. Machines worked well $2.00 for wash & $1.75 to dry. They offer free WiFi passes for 2 devices only. The dog park was grassy but small for our large dogs who prefer large open spaces. You can pick oranges when in season.

Having made no prior arrangements and driven farther than we normally do, we pulled in to a different RV park listed in Campendium, where we were told they only do long term stays. This was the closest alternative. Office staff said they were full, but had an overflow section that was dry camping if we were interested. They only allow dry camping if the full-hookup section is booked up. The park is pleasant, far enough off hwy 58 to present no noise issues. The dry camping section is packed dirt, in a row of orange trees, which we were informed we could pick if we wished, which we did. We were led to our spot by staff in a golf cart, site was level and pleasant. Park is clean and well maintained, they offer a number of amenities, of which we did not partake. Its a bit away from town, which actually like. Felt safe among fellow dry-campers. Used their dump station, which is a little awkwardly placed right in line with the park exit, but wide enough for folks to get around us. It suited our needs for the night.
