We stayed here for just over two month in June through October 2022. The location is fantastic, it's right on the beach! We have always enjoyed Port A and this was out favorite spot. They have all the amenities we need for a longer stay. One of the bonuses is the public shuttle that stop right in front of the park and runs through downtown. They pick up every hour. The staff is friendly and was very helpful when needed. We made great friends there. The park was sold in August of 2023.The old owners Michael and Emma kept the place immaculate, the grass was always green and the flowers were plentiful. I met the new management last year when they took over. Rod Petty is the current manager. Rod contacted me and offered me an opportunity to work camp during the summer of 2023. I was planning on staying at I. B. Magee RV park in 2023 because the rate had gone from $900 per month to $1350 per month in September 2022. I found out when I arrived the rates were increased again in March 2023 and monthly rates now begin at $1800. That's a 100% increase over last years price. After arriving the customers complained continually about the condition of the park, the flowers have been removed and the grass is dead! The place has gone to hell under current management. I told Rod Perry the grass is dying it needs more water, he said "F" the grass. I replied, but the customers are complaining the Award Winning landscaping advertised on the internet is gone, his reply "F" the customers. The guy is a bully that constantly throws the "F" bomb at customers and workers, constantly uses the "N" word and uses derogatory terms for people in the LBGT community. The 2 stars are for the location.

Wi-Fi average- hard to stream a movie. Sites are not spacious, but the back-in sites alongside the dunes have small gardens and more privacy. Beach access is literally 50 ft away. Cars, trucks and RVs can be taken onto the beach (not overnight) for a $12 parking pass that can be bought at most convenience stores. Also a plus: we used Tropical Spray Car Wash to rinse off in town before our journey onward.

This park is well maintained and clean the amenities are nice the only negative is the WiFi it’s spotty at best from the site we stayed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s only a couple hundred yard from the beach with its own access. Highly recommend it.

The City of Port Aransas is not allowing RV parks to accept new patrons. Also, beaches there are closed to camping and most other activity other than exercise.

Park is on beach access road. Short walk. Sites are tight. Getting a 37' takes some doing. Campers are all friendly. You're about 2 miles from Port A. So if you're going to spend an evening at Bernies or Shorty's. You have a long drive back. At least it seems that way. They do charge 1/dog/night.

Be sure to review their cancellation policy as they are unwilling to work with you if you cancel.
I assure you we WILL NOT be staying at the rv Park when we return in 2021.
