Our view was nice with mountains in the back, & our site had a cute little concrete patio w/ a fire pit & sitting area. We took 2 of our dogs with us & was pleased to see them have a dog area. Would 100% come back again. Tons of fun things to explore nearby!

Things were clean and orderly and it’s about 20 minutes from downtown Port Angeles. Quiet. Nice staff.
Shower stalls were on the small side but the water was hot and plentiful.
Pool is nice but the heater was not on or not working. You can’t have a pool in Washington with no heater. Lol

About 20-25 minutes from one of the entrances to Olympic NP.
About 5 - 7 min to restaurants, gas, and groceries.
Good wifi for light computer work.
Cell service for At&T and Verizon are both very strong, with Verizon as the very slight favorite. Please note that we do have a WeBoost.
Nice store and game room.
Facilities and gaming area seemed to be really fun for kids.

Wanted a place to stay that would let us visit the northern section of Olympic National Park as well as the northern coastline. This was perfect. We were in the front electric/water section with a beautiful view of the snow covered mountains behind the campground. The drive pattern within the park is a bit strange. Definitely ask the desk about how to maneuver back to the dump station when ready. By their own admission, propane is much cheaper at the IGS out on 101. The staff is so friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The ice cream social and bingo were lots of fun. The park is very well maintained. No recycling. The pool was open, but brrrrrr! The hot tub was closed due to supply chain issues. The office has a large DVD library, games, and the usual store with a bit of everything. The wi-fi was excellent with many repeaters throughout the grounds.
The drive up to Hurricane Ridge was amazing! Many of the trails were still snow covered so not accessible or snowshoes recommended. Spent time exploring from Crescent Lake to the west all the way to Port Townsend in the east. If you are looking for whale watching, Puget Sound Express seems to be the only option and seats fill up fast. Make reservations. They do have a waitlist and said that many never show. You can take your changes walking up to the ticket booth 30 minutes prior to departure to see if there are any seats. Definitely spend time hiking in the Dungeness Recreation Area all the way out to the spit.

Two things you want to be aware of when you enter the campground for the first time. First, if you are approaching from the east on US 101, the left turn onto the street leading to the campground crosses two busy lanes of traffic: there is no traffic light there, so you will probably have to be patient. Second, the road entering the campground is a single lane road (slightly wider than average) that serves two-way traffic. So this is not a campground where you want to arrive at or before checkout time and end up facing oncoming RVs on that road.
The campground is roughly divided into three sections. The front section near the entrance and the small section behind the pool are typical RV sites with what looks like a lot of shade from the trees. We stayed in the back section, a mix of pull-through sites and deluxe back-in sites with full patios but no shade. This section is laid out using large rocks to mark curves and site boundaries. Each pull-though site in our row had linear rock gardens with bushes and flowers, giving the sites a unique look and creating a decent amount of space and separation between the sites. The only downside was that the entire site was a gravel surface: there was no grass on the site. And this section of the campground is close to US 101, so there is definitely road noise that you can hear (if faintly) inside your RV.
The building containing the office also contains a recreation room with pool, air hockey, and ping-pong tables (one of each) as well as the typical KOA camp store. The propane refill station is next to the area where you park to register with the office, and that area has a small patch of grass and dog waste station specifically for letting dogs have a place to take care of business while signing in: a nice touch. There are plenty of places to walk dogs: there is a large grassy field leading to the fenced-in dog park, and there is a decent-sized area of grass and shrubbery next to the back section (along with a homemade dog waste station).
In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay was about 44bps down and 41Mbps up, and other than the occasional buffering we had no trouble steaming video while we were there. The one speed test I did with my AT&T phone showed 76Mbps down and 15 up.
This would have been a good base camp for visiting Olympic National Park: we unexpectedly had to cut our stay short, but we did make our way up to the Hurricane Ridge section of the park: the visitor center is about a 45-minute drive from the campground.
We had originally planned on staying two weeks, so we had arranged for a package and some mail to be delivered to the campground. Because we had to leave early, we asked the staff if they could forward on those items to a relative (we gave them a stamped envelope for the mail, and emailed them a UPS label for the package), and they did us that kindness. An excellent example of customer service.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow, were meeting friends in the area who were also staying here. We were in site 908 for 3 days in late August. The CG is fairly large and the sites fairly well spaced for a private CG. Ours was even separated by privacy fences. Now the bad. We were directly across from a family who let their young kids run around playing in the road and screaming a lot. They also routinely left their dogs off leash despite a leash rule and several warnings to put them on leash. At least once the smaller of the dogs ran out barking and snarling at a couple walking their two dogs past their site. I even notified the office twice, once about the aggressive behavior and once about the frequent off leash situation. After that many warnings, they should have been asked to leave. AT&T coverage good, ranging from 3-4 Bars of LTE with speeds up to 8.6 MB/s. The CG WiFi was descent, with speeds up to 1.2 MB/s. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were no OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna.

Only some of the sites have sewer. The rest have access to a $20 honey truck. Nice place. Very family friendly. Very close to so many great activities. Staff was nice and helpful. Lots of trees. Road by our site but really not an issue. Has fire pits at some or all of the sites. Seems well maintained. We would come back.

This is our second time here and enjoy the facilities service and staff. Tons of amenities when not in a lockdown. Off leash dog park is a bonus. Pads are huge and well maintained. Great location for activities up and down the coast.
