Nice park w 40 pull throughs. Each site is FHU. All sites were very level and there’s a bit of space between them. There’s a few full timers, and there’s nice trees, especially in the third row. We didn’t try it, but we’re told the washing machines are free. You just pay for the dryer. We didn’t use the restrooms either. Reservations, etc are done over the phone/Net. The owners were very pleasant. The campground host was also pleasant and there’s not much of a check in process. Basically, just drive to your spot! The pool was shut down due to winter. Cell phone tower in the lot next door, so coverage was great. No TV signals that we could find. The WiFi also worked great, which is unusual. The downside of this park is the traffic noise from the nearby highway and RR tracks. But at this very reasonable price….

We paid 40.50 with 1st responder discount for the night at pull thru. Why does Campendium say $999. Apparently the owner not answering the phone taking care of a love one elsewhere so all on the honor system. ✔️, all good. Young man with 40 gallon hat I guess is helping out the owner with his open Carry Glock.
I’ll never understand open carry. I could have overpowered him or pulled my Glock out before he could take another breath. It is was it is. Enough of the freeway for peace and fairly quite.

Easy in and out pull thru for our 35’ Newmar with a tow that we did not want to unhook. We needed 50amp because of the heat. Quiet and right on Hwy 287

Even though these are gravel sites, they must grade them all the time; super flat and no need to break out level blocks at all! Campsite was very clean and everything worked. Only sounds throughout the night were a tremendous thunderstorm and a lone freight train in the distance at the time. Great value and will stop here again if I’m over this way.

Said the pool was beautiful but they’d luckily just had about 5” of much needed rain and turned it green.

The price is unbeatable with just the right amenities. The family running this campground is always easy to get ahold of in the event you need anything. Our dogs love the dog park, and the quiet surrounding roads for a walk. You’re close to Walmart and the grocery store has what you need. You’re less than 2 hours from Amarillo for any big errands. We love this spot and are already considering it as our place for winter. Small town Texas kindness at its finest!

We called ahead and the owners had our info waiting for us in our spot. Nice grassy areas to walk the doggo and to stretch our legs after a 450 mile day. Location is right off Hwy 287, but noise from the road wasn’t a problem. Will definitely stay again next time we head across TX!
