We camped here one night, and it is surrounded by cornfields and rolling hills. There is a beautiful stream nearby. Each site has electricity and water is available throughout the campground. There is a small public toilet. The campsites with electricity are $20 per night.

Site is under renovation at this time. Will become pay site approximately in July 2022. 8 RV sites will be available, electric. Tent sites also available. Prices currently unknown.
Close to road - quite a lot of noise.

Found this hidden gem. It's a bit of a drive (about 30min) off 80, but worth it. The GPS will get you to the location. If there was a park sign it wasn't very noticeable, look for a Boat Ramp sign. I came from the west. and ended up passing it. If you go over the bridge you will see the river and park on your right and you've gone past the road. You will be turning onto 385th Street (unmarked dirt road) off of Pioneer Trail Rd then an immediate left. That will be the park entrance. I used GPS: 41.195949, -95.44836. I'm sure either one will get you to the entrance.
Once you enter the park if you keep toward the left you will come to the boat ramp area. To the right is a turn around area. Pick a spot anywhere on the grass. There are some walking trails down (kinda steep) to the river, or you can walk to the boat ramp area. It was pretty muddy, so I didn't venture in. Lots of kayaks and canoes.
The park's website states there is a $3 fee at the gate. There was no one at a gate. There was a tent camper that had been camping a few nights and he saw a Ranger drive through once.
I stayed here for an overnight in the beginning of July. Hardly any bugs, very quiet. A few tent campers. Would have loved to stay another night or so to break out the kayak and check out the river. I came after 4th of July and there was some trash. I picked up some trash down by the river and around my site, but overall pretty clean for a park not having a full time Ranger. There are bathrooms, however due to COVID19 they were closed.
