Stayed across lake at Lake Durant campground, but checked it out in our Jeep. Old paved road, slightly rough, but we would do it in our 35 ft Class A for a free spot and no generator limitations. Just go slow when needed. Best access is from main road closest to the official campground. See map in photos. Other end is narrower and rougher. 2 sites with picnic tables and fire pits, but could park along same old road if in a pinch and having to spend the night. Small sign does state to park in designated sites only. Road wide enough in some sections to turn our 35 ft class A around if we had to. Lake Durant on one side of road and marshy/swampy lake on the other side. Close to main road, but that gets quiet at night.
Poor to no cel service, but we were able to boost it across the lake, so might be able to do here too.
Dave, Gerdien & Grace would stay here again

Across Lake Durant from the DEC campground. 2 sites, 1 site can handle an RV of about 25 ft, the other maybe 30 ft.
Turn off is across from DEC boat wash, to loop rd technically in the lake. No AT&T service.
GPS coordinates listed take you to the campground across the lake. Use N43.50.527 W74.23.731
