“This is a shooting range”

Overall Rating

I hoped to stay here because the open area looked great for Starlink.

It is now a shooting range with lots of trash from targets. There were a couple of guys shooting as I approached. I definitely did not stay. With all of the trash, I don’t think I would have stayed anyway.

“Big Rig Friendly Campsites Close to Baker Lake”

Reviewed 11/15/2021

RV Length: 36' (Fifth Wheel)
Overall Rating

Found a free dispersed camping area within the Mt Baker National Forest along NF-12. This free dispersed campsite is big rig friendly and is the site of an old quarry. This free dispersed camping area in the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest has a few established fire rings and a view of nearby mountains. Access via National Forest Road NF-12 was also big rig friendly. There was no cellular service at this location for Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
