Take Hwy 550 but don't try to take Lime Creek Rd from the south like the giy in the rv who got stuck for a week.https://www.durangoherald.com/articles/rv-is-free-after-spending-a-week-stuck-on-lime-creek-road/

No, easy drive from Durango. Silverton or Ouray to here could be intimidating but Durango is nothing. The road to the site is easy and there’s plenty of room to park or turn around.

No, very easy drive. Only thing I’d suggest is pull in through the first driveway and through the gravel parking lot. The second driveway just around the corner is a steep sharp turn with a trailer. From Durango the driveway is on the right just after the first hairpin turn you get to which is also the bridge that crosses Cascade Creek.
