Vista asked on 4/13/2022

If I choose to camp near the "gravel pit" area on the map, can I exit by continuing down that dirt road and rejoining the highway?

Yes you can. We camped there in November 2021 and all roads were passable.

Yes you can get out at the other end of the gravel pit. I’d recommend staying on the upper section if you can rather than the gravel pit. There is also one good hidden spot on the other side of gravel pit that had a larger 5th wheel in it when we were there.

@Vista, did you end up camping here and going out the road to come out further north on 89? We are heading that way tonight and I was wondering the same question you asked.

We camped there about 3 years ago so I don't exactly remember, but I recall we got to the camp area via a sandy, dirt road a short way off of the highway.
