Loved our stay here, but very hard to get into. We were lucky and got spot 69 on a cancellation. The lake views were amazing. Be careful of spots 22-24 as they can be down wind of the bathroom and it’s not always so pleasant. Our spot was across the road from the bathroom and we had no issues. Had a few trees that were perfect for hammocks. Lake access was short walk across the road. Some interior roads may be a little tight for a large rig. Verizon cell service was good. The Branson Belle comes by a couple times. Loved Old 86 and have already booked another trip.

Stayed at Old Highway 86 October’23. The bathroom and shower facilities were clean and maintained well during our stay. Site was pretty level only requiring about a 1/2 inch adjustment on our Anderson leveling wedges. Only one minor gripe about this place and it might be just an COE gripe…. They are very strict on outside tents. They even count screen room (pop up clam shelter) as a tent. We haven’t had a problem at other COE parks but this one would not allow an RV, sleeping tent, and screen shelter all on the same site. We were strongly encouraged by the camp host to take down the screen shelter to avoid issues with COE managers. Wouldn’t stop me from coming back but was extra work so don’t even try it here. Another gripe is there really needs to be a 2nd dump station added for a campground this size. They also do now have flush water with a hose hookup at the single dump station. This is probably to speed up the dump process but it caused an extra stop on the way home for a proper sanitation flush dump of the black tank. Removed 1 star for lackluster rv dump.

Very nice COE campground on Table Rock Lake. Many waterfront sites, and the interior sites are good as well. Facilities are clean.
About 30 minutes to Branson, yes it's a tourist trap but we enjoyed our 1st visit here. If you're not used to driving mountain roads, make sure you arrive before dark.

This campground far exceeded our expectations. Our spot was just spectacular. Right at the end of the peninsula on the water. We had our own personal kayak. Launch spot steps from the pad. Our next-door neighbors were close but your lounging area has all the views. Just about any site on the water here is beautiful. You just have to determine if you want eastern or western exposure. Our site faced east, so we had lovely morning sun and shelter from the afternoon son. My only complaint is that there is absolutely no soap in any of the bathrooms. I have no idea why that is. Wi-Fi was just so so, one to two bars at times, not enough to stream clearly. But truthfully, you are here to play on the water, so bring your boats or kayaks.

OK for half off senior price. Popular with fisher people. Nice lake side views. If you do not already have a reservation, even though there was a person at the entrance box, you must go on line to reserve a spot (they do tell you what's available to look over). Then you go back to the box to get the printed permit (til 7pm). Found a spot semi private (few) for three days mid week but weekends are probably booked full. Mostly close pads with big rigs including porch and/or blinking "mood" lights. My second core of engineers campground (AR and MO) that doesn't believe soap dispensers in the otherwise well attended bath/toilet facilities should be included.

We absolutely loved it here. So Peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed watching the boats speed by on Table Rock Lake and many people were fishing. Next time we will bring our kayaks. We also enjoyed just sitting on the bank with our feet in the warm water. The Branson Belle even came by our campsite. Very clean and well kept. Kudos to the staff!
