Camped 5/23, 5/24/23 (Tue, Wed). Electric only site with water nearby. Full rate was $24/night. Multiple camping area options - lake side, lake views and some not by the lake at all. Area G was more on a ridge with nice lake views; others were lower (D, E), closer to the water or in the woods (A). Area E had some super nice sites, and it was not as densely wooded there. Sites are large and spacious. Area B was closed during our stay. Some driveway pads in area G (ours included) sloped downwards but leveled off where the camper/RV sits.
Bathrooms were cleaned daily; the whole park looked very well maintained. During our stay, area G was almost full but quiet. There was a water spigot across the road from us. I think there is only one dump station which is near the entrance. Trash dumpsters are across from the dump station. The distance between camping areas made for good bicycle rides between them. Roads are nicely paved. A kid's playground is along the road to areas B & G - not in any camping area - so you'd have to drive or bike to get to it.
We had good cell service. Conveniences are in Heber Springs. There are also waterfalls and a fish hatchery along Highway 25 in the Heber Springs area.

Another well done Corp of Engineers Campground. Most sites have a water view and plenty of space between sites. Our site was G2. It’s a bit apart from the other sites and in the woods. Perfect for our dogs but not a water front site.

The ONLY thing that could be better was to have water on site. There are water hydrants to tie into, but are spaced out in the park and not at each site, glad we had a fresh water tank to cover this. The view from G18 is amazing! The rocks below on the water side make for good swimming and fishing and the water is clear enough to see the trout swimming. Level site, wide enough for anything you got, parking for two vehicles. Trees throughout, no problem mounting your hammock.
Park is fairly large, plenty of sites available, but think G15-18 are the prime sites for views. B sites were closed when we were there.
Great cell signals, absolutely no air antennae signals. Easy access, no problems and very good roads throughout the park.

Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet low key campground. Kids rode their bikes with little traffic to worry about. Good cellphone service. Only down is no dedicated water at sites but they have several places you fill up from your site if you have enough hose. I would recommend 75 to 100 feet of hose if you are staying long.
