Pros:
No phone service on any carriers
Easy access to the river
Clean portal-potty and dumpster
Weekdays were busy, but pleasant
Hammock friendly
The friendly park ranger walked through the camp just about every day, which was nice. He did kick out the heavy partying groups which was good for everyone else.
Cons:
Not a good RV site - no hookups
Right next to the road - cars drove by fast and loud
Parking spots are tiny and even more cramped when the big groups inevitably arrive.
Sites are right next to each other - no privacy.
Weekends (starting Friday) were busting at the seams and quite unpleasant. People came in massive groups with multiple cars. The big groups were up past 11pm partying and cranking their music and generators late into the night so they could have super bright flood lights - I had to ask them to turn off their generator. The people next to us had their car window broken by another partying group that got kicked out by the park ranger. The other people next to us pitched their tents right next to our tent (literally feet away) after we went to bed; not sure why when they had plenty of space in their own camp.
Cheap beer bottle caps, broken glass, and cigarette butts strewn literally everywhere.
Multiple dogs incessantly barking and yipping day and night.
Tips:
Bring an extra garbage bag to clean up your site upon arrival so it is safe and campable.
Bring water shoes for the river, also to protect from the broken glass and lost fishhooks
Harbor’s Light would stay here again

Water shoes needed for the river are available for purchase for around $20 at the Riverkern General Store and Deli 7 miles from the camp site.
