We stayed here in our 38' motorhome with toad. We had plenty of room for our coach and toad. The surface was packed gravel. The staff was very nice, we had full hookups. This was a good place to stay to visit The Petrified Forest and Painted Desert.

The WiFi was terrible at our site (which was close to the office) and in the laundry room. The showers were very clean and perfectly functional. The laundry room was excellent (pay by credit card or phone app) and busy with fellow campers in the late afternoon on a weekday. Can hear trains day and night.

We arrived after dark and picked up a late arrival packet at the office. Had called earlier the same day for reservation. Spot was fairly level. Offset spots took a minute to understand layout when pulling in but just followed instructions in our packet. Clean power and good water pressure. All gravel sites. Wi-Fi worked well.

Favorites - Close to Petrified Forest NP. Long site.
Negatives - Strange park setup, utilities a little wonky, no cable, narrow site, a park in transition.

The sites are a little odd in layout in that all are alternating pull throughs. These may be the longest pull throughs we’ve seen so the RVs are staggered. There was a sewer hook up every 10 feet which was convenient given the site lengths. If crowded, this could be awkward but there was plenty of space in early June.
Very friendly staff and well kept. Largest trees shaded the gravel dog park. Can use credit cards for laundry. Petrified wood display near office. We enjoyed the Empty Pockets Saloon, Romos Cafe, and the Safeway in town. Easy commute to the Petrified Forest and Winslow. Don’t miss the Route 66 stuff in Holbrook and the Navajo County Museum. Convenient to I-40 but little interstate noise. Some cars traveling through to the mobile homes on the next block but they were reasonable with their speed and noise.

We have a small camper, and most using this site are big rigs. We were given a nice open spot with only one camper nearby. Everything was nice and clean, but we did not use the facilities. Nice place to stay!!

It is a clean rock paved parking lot.
Ok is appropriately named.
They certainly need to work on their customer service skills and efficiency.
On 2/7/21 I made a reservation and was quoted $40. I asked them to send me a confirmation which I never got. I called on 7/8 to confirm and spoke to Kelly. She remade the reservation and mentioned computer problems and that they don’t email confirmations.
On arrival I was told $50. I showed them I was quoted $40 . Response was ‘well it’s $50’. I asked a call back from manager which never happened. Next day I called again for a manager and told her what occurred and she was became extremely rude. All I wanted was to be charged what I was told so to refund the $10. Said she would refund Full amount when I only asked for $10 refund because she was pissed off. I said I did not want a full refund but I was not going to argue. To me that is a really dumb business decision but whatever. The worst part instead of apologizing she was so rude I couldn’t believe how she acted. She would not even wait 1 second till i got my card out of the wallet. She needs to take a customer service class and to get a grip on her anger issues as I was never rude or mean just stating facts.
