You cross a small bridge to check-in with the office. You will need to drive down to the boat launch to make a circular turn to get back over the bridge to access the campsite road. The campsite road is single wide with a loop at the end. It would be very difficult to navigate the road when a truck and trailer wanted to leave the campground while another was entering.
The campsites along the lake are mostly crowned and not level. By luck we ended up at site 18 which was relatively level and not crowned. What I mean by crowned is the trailer site falls off on either side. You can get your trailer leveled, but when you want to step out of your trailer there is a bit off a drop on either side.
We didn't have wind the first night in, but did the second night so we closed our awning. Lovely to be in the trees but our solar did not produce much electricity for the batteries so we need to run our generators to give us sufficient power. Trash bins are at the road entrance so if you end up in higher numbered sites it is a trek to drop off your trash. There are a couple pit toilet facilities along the campsite road. Not sure I would want a site next to one of those given the smell.
Overall a nice location and great for tent camping as well cab-over truck campers. Larger rigs, ours is a 27ft travel trailer, is limited. Staff was friendly.
Wineteam would stay here again

I'll spare everyone the sob story and just suffice to say that it's not advisable to try staying at this campground if your RV is longer than about 30'. I'll spare everyone the sob story and just suffice to say that it's not advisable to try staying at this campground if your RV is longer than about 30'. There is one way in to the camp sites on a narrow, windy road that has a turn around at the end that is too tight for large RVs. So even when they accept your reservation for a 40' 5th Wheel do not attempt. Also the wind picks up at around 11:00am daily, which makes the water very choppy and perhaps unsafe for kayaks. It makes the camp sites quite windy too. The spots are pretty though and 24 is as private as you can expect in a public campground. It's convenient and fun to have a restaurant nearby to treat yourself if you want to. We didn't end up staying here because we couldn't fit on the road so I'm not sure about the other amenities. Every other campground was booked for miles so there may not be a Plan B if you don't fit and no Verizon cell service to call other options.

Very pretty, but the sites are small and squeezed in along the lakeshore. The wind kicks up in the afternoon. A lot. Apparently other folks were "in the know" about this and had windblocks in place.
Vault toilets. Not the cleanest. Only ONE water spigot for the entire campground. No hook ups. No showers available and no dump station. There is a resort, restaurant and marina. Sailboats be ware of shallows and narrow mooring spaces. Also a rickety playground by the resort.
Horseback riding available. No speed limit on the lake. Good for water skiers, bad for kayakers and canoers.
A trail loops a good distance around the lake and makes for a pretty hike.
We had fun but agreed we probably would not choose this campground again. Perhaps the other end of the lake with more wind shelter.
