“Great Location To The Beach, But TINY sites! ”

Reviewed 6/11/2023

Nightly rate: $65

Site Number: 10
Overall Rating

This campground has great proximity to the beach and dunes, but the campsites are TINY, like worse than an RV park. But there are full hook ups which was nice for a couple days. The sites were pretty dirty and full of trash. Not like forest service and state park campgrounds where the hosts come and do a good sweet of the site and fire pit… we pick up after ourselves but a lot of people don’t. I would stay here again if the neither of the state campgrounds has availability.

“Nice Campground - great beach access”

Small county park campground with full hookups. Sites are well spaced with a picnic table and fire ring. Most are very level.
It’s easy to make reservations online at the county park website. It doesn’t allow you to pay the pet use fee.
Easy one block walk to the beach and many restaurants. Great location, would definitely be back.
Check in is at the larger Coastal Dunes campground which was a little inconvenient.
Due to proximity to the lagoon mosquitoes were intense and there were so many burrs in the grass, our dog was covered.
