This is a small county park, only 20-25 sites, just one loop, all back-in sites with full hook-ups. We stayed 5 nights, averaging $58/night. (The rates are more on holiday weekends and we happened to be there over President's Day weekend. I'll attempt to attach a picture of their current fee schedule. It says Coastal Dunes, but it's all part of the same system.) The sites are a little cozy but it's a good home-base. We were in the area visiting and sightseeing so didn't spend much time at the site. The best part about this campground, other than being clean and quiet, is that it's only a couple blocks' walk to the beach.

The sites were pretty dirty and full of trash. Not like forest service and state park campgrounds where the hosts come and do a good sweet of the site and fire pit… we pick up after ourselves but a lot of people don’t. I would stay here again if the neither of the state campgrounds has availability.

Small county park campground with full hookups. Sites are well spaced with a picnic table and fire ring. Most are very level. It’s easy to make reservations online at the county park website. It doesn’t allow you to pay the pet use fee. Easy one block walk to the beach and many restaurants. Great location, would definitely be back. ... more

Easy one block walk to the beach and many restaurants. Great location, would definitely be back.
Check in is at the larger Coastal Dunes campground which was a little inconvenient.
Due to proximity to the lagoon mosquitoes were intense and there were so many burrs in the grass, our dog was covered.
