The roads within the campground are gravel. I know sites 1-14 up front are gravel with grass in between. I don’t remember what the sites in the back were like. Sites 1-14 are FHU. The rest of the sites are W/E only. Majority of the sites are 30 amp, with a couple 50 amp sites.
Once arriving with reservations, sites are FCFS. There are some pull through sites, the rest are back in.
Campground has restrooms, showers , laundry room, dump stations, and a walking path to the beach. It was about a half mile walk from site 10 to the beach. Restrooms and showers were a little dated, but clean. The laundry room was small. 2 washers and 2 dryers. It was very clean.
Sites all seemed pretty close together. Site 10 was pretty level. It did have a picnic table. There were some puddles. For as much as it rained, I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t worse. I was a bit reluctant to come here based on so many reviews, but was glad I did. It was a great spot for seeing some of Olympic National Park.
Verizon signal was adequate on a couple of days. On the weekend when the campground filled up, it became pretty unusable.

The Dish service works great getting good signals from all 3 satellites. The sites are small but not as bad as Longbeach TT. The power service is good as well as the water. You stay here to be close to the beach and that is what you get. My experience has been good here both times we stayed here. I wish the cell service was better, but that is a provider problem and not Thousand Trails. I will be staying here again if and when I am back in the area.
This campground is clean and trail to the beach has gravel some of the way. There is no swimming pool at this location.
Enjoy!

Only 30 amp hookups in the backend of the park, only the sites near the highway have full hookup with 50 amp. When raining, many of the sites near the beach flood, but I’m sure in warmer and dryer temps this park is great! The laundry room is only open during business hours, so plan to do your laundry from 10am-6pm, otherwise you’ll be locked out. Seabrook is close by (15 minute drive), and a great place to explore for families with young children, or a sport with good restaurants and parks.

Mostly clean ocean campground with no frills. Sites were all back-ins, clean with grass though small and close together (typical Thousand Trails). The beach was close enough to walk to. Services 10-15 minutes away by car. No septic at sites. Little to no cell phone reception.

RANGER DAVID IS A PEEPING TOM. I CAUGHT HIM LOOKING AT MY THROUGH THE WOMENS BATHROOM AFTER I TOLD HIM SOMEONE WAS IN THERE WHEN HE KNOCKED THR FIRST TIME. When I confronted him he began to yell at me telling me I was crazy and that it is his responsibility to check the bathrooms and I said but you don’t ever look in the women’s bathroom window, you knock. I asked to speak to the manager, he said he would be back tomorrow and slammed the ranger door in my face. So I called 911, so of course he had to call the manager then. Management did nothing. Everyone staying there complained about how rude David was to staff too.
Sites are very tight. If it rains everything turns into a big puddle. The whole place is falling apart. The “laundry room” is a junk pile of rubble on the ground and has been “condemned”. The wooden walkways around are all rotting and falling apart, very big safety hazard. The weekends are full of local tent campers and they are all out of control, noisy, don’t pick up after their dogs, no boundaries. The only nice thing is they have beach access.
You have been warned!

As with most RV parks in this area, the sites are in rows and fairly close together. Plenty of space for a picnic table, slides, awnings, and lawn chairs though. During the week it clears out, but fills up on weekends. The park is under new management and he's been doing a great job getting the park in shape. Most sites are even and graveled. Bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. Laundry room is temporarily closed for extended maintenance issues. Extensive lawn areas and a playground for playtime. Full hookups in a section close to the road; water and electricity in the rest of the park. There is a lovely trail through a wooded area to the beach that is a joy to walk.
The only issue I found was not the park itself but the weekend campers. They are loud, play radios that drown out the birds and ocean, don't pick up after their dogs, and allow their kids to do things they shouldn't be doing- like ride skateboards and bikes on the wooden walkway around the bathrooms. It's a relief when they leave on Sunday.

Just purchase TT membership ($550) and if all TT are like this place I won’t use them again. They do get 1 star because the bathroom was clean. On arrival Host says the Laundry room (Old Double Wide) was just condemned and the clubhouse is closed because of Covid. Really? We are in stage 3 so should be open. Spots were narrow and muddy. They laid out about 5-6 feet of crushed rock but no RV would fit and if so you are surrounded by mud. Beach is 5 minute walk through muddy trail with offshoots that homeless people hang out in. 1/2 the people in the RV park (trailer park) are full-timers with all of their stuff everywhere and the other half are scary people one would remember as extras from the movie deliverance. Everything else about the place is in need of upgrades and maintenance. I could not imagine staying here if crowded as spaces are very close. Also, wifi is next to clubhouse and you need to stand next to the closed clubhouse to get any wifi.

Sites are too close to one another!
It was our first time at a thousand trails “resort”
They should edit the title. Definitely not a resort but just a typical rv park.

checked in on a thur, to avoid the fri rush which it was, this is a select your site and let the ranger know where..
Burn ban in effect so not campfires.. YEAHHHH.. LP ones OK.. (all the fires around portland and california being blown in and haze limits sights to like 1 mile or less.)
They do charge for packages. $5 per package. or have stuff sent to local PO Ocean Shores Post Office: General Delivery.
During non covid times the Quinault Beach Casino has a free shuttle from the park to back. you just give them a call and they come. that is cool if you like to play the slots..
the laundry room is open 24/7 in a converted RV trailer up near the ranger station.. Wash is $2.00, dryer is $1.74 quarters.. Speed Queen commercial machines.
the sites are a bit tight especially 82 -100.. on the left side 49-65 are somewhat wider.
ALL SITE ARE NO SEWER,, except the one right up front 1-14.. there are some annuals in them and the 1-4 sites are SHORT.. for the most part don't expect to get a sewer site.. :)
Also sites 15-19 are private residents.. 24-30 are pull through .
the new bridge is wider and much nicer than old bridge in looking at photos. the section in back is not open in winter due to water from creek flooding the area at times we heard.
The bath house in back section was in good condition.. there are 3 regular shower stalls and one wheel chair accessable on end.. there is also 2 toilets and 2 urinals on wall.. two sinks and paper towel holder.
the old kids play area you see in photos was removed and replaced with a nice new safer place, there is also a volleyball court, a picnic area and the walk to beach is nice back through the woods on the path. (about a 8 min walk)
The weekend bring in a lot of locals with bikes, kids, dogs etc but it was not too bad over all.
Att data hotspot was 6.8 mbps down.. t mobile was nothing to 1.3 and I jumped to sprint at times. (fast.com)
not really a good stop for olympia NP.. you are so far away from stuff.. We will move to Forks to elks lodge for a couple day and boondocking as well.. also the Port Angeles is a good place to stay and see with the hurricane ridge road right there.
ONP is not like Yellowstone where you can come in one entrance and drive around and back out theo the other side.. ONP is one way in and one way out on the road you came in on.
probably won't come back here just because of the location in regards to ONP. Next stop Mt Hood Valley TT.. :)
EDIT: there is a commercial wifi service in the park.. you can get 5.2 mbps for $6 a day or $15 for 7 days. for more money you can get a 10 meg down for $35 for 30 days or 5.2 meg for $25 for 30 days. that covers 4 devices. did not try so not able to comment on service.

We really enjoyed having the beach in only a five min walk away for my wife and kids to go to while I worked. Also if you drive down the road a little ways you can drive your vehicle on the beach as well. We stayed here so we could travel to Ruby Beach one day. So worth it😁.
Make sure you make your way to the south jetty as well where you can find tons a starfish.
As for working from home if you do not have a cell booster the signal was pretty low. I only had 1 bar of 4G with around 2-4mbps without my booster.

This park is ONLY 30amp it has NO 50amp power in 99% of the sites. There are a few FHU sites in the front area and in the back there is Water & Power only. Sewer dump station at the exit.. They have a small area for small rigs to pull threw. 45 feet will fill the small site with no room for a car.
