We stayed just one night, the last night of a 3,000 mile road trip. The staff were so welcoming over the phone and in person when we arrived. They even gave us brownies and cookies and a "ranger" on a golf cart drove us to our pull-through site and explained where things were for us.
This park is the kind of place we'd expect wouldn't really want overnight travelers, but not only were we able to book a same-day reservation, the park seems completely set-up for (and welcoming of) overnight guests.
We had full hookups and a large, concrete, level, pull-through site. The WiFi worked great. The grounds are impeccable and include multiple ponds with fountains and walking paths. They also have multiple very nice fenced dog run areas. The bath houses were modern and clean and had much-appreciated strong A/C units in them.
Yes, it's over $70/night... welcome to Florida... after staying here, it felt like a bigger bargain than it already was compared to others available. After a long trip, this kind of relaxed, quiet park is exactly what we'd hoped for. There are definitely long-term and seasonal residents, but don't be dissuaded by that if you're traveling, they are more than happy to have you stay.

Didn’t partake in the amenities, but this place is beautiful. For our first ever RV park experience, we got spoiled. AT&T service was great. Our trip is a one way journey, but we would gladly stay here again if we ever come back this way.

As you enter the resort you stop at an area with two lanes for check in. Once checked in you wait until someone in a golf cart takes you to your site. This is very helpful as the resort is huge. While the sites are not super wide they are far from being one of the narrower sites I have stayed at before in other RV parks. With a 39 foot 5th wheel and Ram 3500 short bed, there is still plenty of space to drop the patio on the toy hauler. Campfires are allowed in a self contained fire pit with a cover. The park is very quiet at night (we were here over New Years Eve and it was surprisingly quiet). The sound of I-75 can be heard while outside the RV but once inside other than the occasion truck exhaust break I didn't really notice the highway. Note that there is a section of the campground that is much closer to I-75. There are grocery stores 19 miles north and 15 miles south. The area is dotted with horse farms and rolling countryside. Garbage pickup is daily, just place your garbage at the end of your site between 9-11a. Also if you need your propane refilled, leave your propane tank at the end of the site and they will pick it up and return it the same day.
The RV park is very clean with a pool, clubhouse, dog park, shuffleboard and other activities. Very dog friendly. People are out and walking all of the time and everyone was very friendly. Wifi was very good although it occasionally would go on the fritz for a few minutes here and there. We are already planning to stay again in the fall just have to see what our schedule is. We stayed for a month at $750+electricity. We have Google-Fi for our cell phone service and had no issues. Husband works remotely and he had no issues with connectivity on the internet.

Park has WiFi, but it’s very unstable. Get kicked off every 10 minutes or so.
Interstate noise is noticeable inside camper when things get quiet. Not offensive per se.

This RV resort is in a great location, right off I-75 and easy to get to. We stayed here twice. The first time was a great experience. The spots are very close together in most sections of the resort, and we prefer to have much more space, even if it costs more.
For our second stay, we intentionally booked a site with much more room (site 400) for 6 days. Upon arrival, the concrete pad at our site was completely under water. We asked if we could get a refund, which was declined even though they could not put us in another spot that we were happy with, and only offered us a credit for a future stay. They did find a different spot for us that we chose to stay at for the first night, and left early the next morning as the new spot was not what we were looking for. We called the office later to let them know, and were told at that point that we could NOT get a credit for the remaining days, although we were told that receiving a credit would be an option. So we ended up paying $375 for one night at a spot that we didn't book and didn't want to stay at.

The sites were very close together but fairly level and concrete pads. The fellow who checked us in was very nice and efficient and the snowbirds around us also very friendly and congenial. Little tricky backing up into our pull thru site but not a problem for my husband.

Here are some notes for data for people interested in staying here and needing connectivity. They have an amazing campground WiFi deployment. I was getting about 15mbs down and 6mbs up. Obviously depending on when people are using it all that can change.
I have a Pepwave Max Transit CAT18 modem paired up with a Parsec Husky Pro 7-in-1 4x4 MIMO antenna mounted on our travel trailer. I ran a speedtest from Ookla on my laptop three times per provider while I was deciding which connection to use. I ended up leveraging Speedfusion on my router to bond my best connection with the campground WiFi

My wife and I are full time RVers and came to Ocala North RV Resort in December 2020 for the winter and decided to stay. The resort is gorgeous and the staff is friendly and helpful. Horses to the North, cows to the south and woods across the street. Fantastic country setting! This is a 5 star resort plus!
