Stayed here before but it’s not the same. Between the Loves truck stop out front the incredibly bad entrance road and work campers leaving from 4AM till 6AM you won’t get much rest. I’ll never be back here.

Pulled in after hours for a quick one nighter. Full hookups after a few days on the road were nice. Not too sure about the amenities though. We just weren’t there long enough. Loved that it was off the freeway enough to sleep quietly.

This was our second stay at this campground: our first visit was during Thanksgiving in 2019 (before I started writing reviews). Other than the new siding on the half-buried RV this park is known for (it's very close to Cadillac Ranch), it doesn't seem like much has changed in four years (good or bad).
All of the sites in the park have asphalt pads with a concrete center, gravel yards with large stones, and a picnic table bolted down on the concrete. Most of the sites are pull-through sites arranged in several rows, with a row of back-in sites along the eastern and southern edges of the park (mostly occupied by long-term residents). The spacing between the sites is decent for a private campground, making it feel pretty open. Some sites have an adjacent tree but none of those trees have much of a canopy so all sites are open to the sky. Our site (site 17) was fairly level, but we did put a board under the driver's side wheels of the camper. Our power pedestal and water spigot were located together near the center of the site, but the sewer was located at the very front of the site, requiring us to use our sewer hose extension.
Three bathhouses with laundry facilities are scattered throughout the campground. The recreation area is in the northeast corner, centered around a community building containing a small workout room and laundry room, bordered by a small hot tub area on one side and a swimming pool on the other. There is also a horseshoe pit and small playground in this corner. There is a propane refill station next to the office, but they don't have anyone on staff who can operate it, so I ended up going to the nearest Tractor Supply 14 minutes away for propane (just as I did back in 2019). They provide cable TV hookups that give you 40+ channels, but on most channels the quality of the video was reminiscent of over-the-air broadcasts during the 1970s and 80s.
The campground has one large dog park in the northwest corner of the park, under a tall billboard. The dog park surface is a mix of gravel, dirt, and and grass, and is decently lit at night by the billboard and several solar powered motion-trigger lights. If the dog park is busy, there is a long stretch of grass along the west end of the park with a number of small trees.
The first three days of our visit, the bandwidth I was getting on my de-prioritized Verizon hotspot with MIMO antenna was lousy, making it barely usable. But it improved as the week went on: the best speed I saw was 7 Mbps download and 15 up, and I was able to stream video.
The AT&T bandwidth on my smartphone was consistently strong: I saw 189 Mbps down and 17 up. I did use the campground WiFi several times when the Verizon bandwidth was bad. Like Verizon, there were times when it worked well and times that it didn't, but when it was working well it was good enough to stream video.

Level pull though lots. Nice concrete pads and plenty of room between neighbors. A bit pricey but it's very nice also. I stay here every time I'm going through Amarillo. Nice and quiet away from the interstate. Modern and updated facilities.

And when the wind blows out of the west… WOW the smell of feed lots is so strong it would knock you over! Since we were running our ACs, we might not have not have noticed (no smell all day or the night before), but we stepped outside about 10:30pm, and the odor was strong! It’s too bad because much about this park is commendable 😕. They definitely need to up their game on grounds maintenance.

I cannot recommend this place for $71 a night. While it does offer full hookups and fairly level concrete sites, there is zero shade and the facilities were filthy. There was poop all over the toilets, the shower heads were so full of scale that I'm not sure how water still came out of the holes, the bathrooms are not air conditioned so it gets super hot in there if you do dare to use them. Other than human excrement all over the toilets, there were no paper towels so it's pretty obvious no one is servicing the restrooms. We have a very small camper van and we rely on the restroom facilities at our overnight stops. Overall there is no maintenance or cleaning going on here. For what we paid I am extremely disappointed. There are rock beds between the RV spots and they are all overrun with weeds. We have paid half as much and had better experiences at Love's truck stop RV centers. Also, they offered free WiFi but it was pretty much unusable throughout our stay.

Been here two times before, both times we had a good experience, clean bathrooms, easy sites, great landscaping.
This year when pulling in, I noticed right away that weeds are being allowed to grow in the rock beds between sites. I don’t remember that lack of attention to detail before, the bath house nearby was not in great shape when I went to use it upon arriving. Empty to, paper all over the rooms, another had been visited by someone with bowel problems.
I am not sure when the last time they checked it was. We used to be able to rely on the bathhouses being in great shape, our old camper didn’t have a bathroom and it was one of the stops on our trips that my wife did t mind using because the bathrooms weren’t blown up.
The road past the truck stop is in really bad shape, watch out for the monster truck sized potholes on the way in.
I hope it is just bad luck.
Power, water and the site amenities are working great without issue.
