Oakland City Park Campground

Even though the weather was less than ideal (cloudy, rainy)....this campground/city park is 2nd to none! As we drove through checking it out (with 40ft of 5th wheel behind us, one of the caretakers approached us, gave us all the information we needed about camping rates etc. The facility is extremely well kept, even this late in the camping season. So much to these facilities. Baseball diamond, football field with track, basketball courts, tennis courts, shower facility (heated), restrooms, camping spots, bbq grills, walking paths, riding arena and what we believe to be an outside concert arena. Also a couple of pavilions, and buildings for 4H events. Fairly quiet although near RR tracks and highway...didn't really notice any of it during the night. Will definitely return, and have to say again...beautiful park and extremely well kept.
