“Beautiful But No Service”

Overall Rating
All 3 campsites or so down this road are really pretty this really is a beautiful area and town just kind of tucked into the mountains. The river goes right past. but I’m not sure how in the world anyone had service here because I had absolutely zero service as a Verizon carrier. Also each night is $8. Lastly, they have wooden poles so you can’t park directly next to the river but you can get pretty close and obviously sit near it if you want to go outside. Would stay here again if service is not needed.

Upon arrival, a local told us this area hasn’t allowed camping for years due to overuse. There are multiple residences right next to the hatchery and not much room in the parking lot. There’s camping along a BLM access road on the other side of the river.
