The park is used by the town for several things, but the campground is fairly separate, along a small river. Park is within a mile of the center of Glencoe.
Part shaded and the upper end is open lawns with scattered small trees. Electric plus water at each site. Dump in parking area. Can be used by non-campers by paying $4. Stayed in September after the pool was drained. Football and baseball fields are in the park as well.
One of the buildings has three “accessible” shower / toilets that are kept locked. When you arrive the camp host gives you the code. These were by far the cleanest, most spacious private bathrooms and showers I’ve experienced at any campground.
