Site was pretty sloped front to rear and weirdly there was only one water point shared between two sites, so if your neighbor got in first and hooked up without a double adaptor, you’re out of luck.

Lots of shade, reasonable site spacing. Very near interstate so you will hear it when outside unless your down by the lake. Good AT&T service. There a gravel area (section B) where they put the big rigs. Those look level and clean, but no trees, just a large gravel lot with spaces marked by painted lines on the gravel. This lot is at lake level.

Pros: Easy Access - Kind staff and campers- Easy to follow And safe roads for the kids to explore - dog friendly - huge lake to with shell/rock hunting - Playground within walking distance at the marina that is really nice
Cons: lots are VERY close together at all the sites - pool is tiny - sounds from the interstate

For most of the time we did not have anyone on either side of us, but if it were full, it would certainly be cramped and a bit less enjoyable. It is fine if you are out exploring, but I would not come here to "camp" in Section B. You do have nice views of the lake which does have a marina and is a great lake to kayak in. There is a pool and laundry, which are open seasonally. There is some road noise.

For trailers and smaller Rvs the other areas are nicely spaced with trees. While not all spaces are level they are all gravel or solid surface. Very relaxing. For tents they have wood platforms and picnic tables. Large lake for boating and fishing. Marina available. Tennis courts and golf course nearby on property. Many stores, fast food, shopping and services within 4 miles. Small store on site. Enjoyed stay. Only downside was lack of good internet. They have free WiFi but even theirs was weak.

Central NC doesn't present a lot of options for camping. Oak Hollow is one of the few and is a pretty decent option. There are two wooded loops and one gravel lot. Verizon is a bit iffy in the park, AT&T is fast and the park WiFi, at least when there is hardly anyone in the park is great! There is lots of lake access and decent walking because you can leave out of the back of the park and walk the adjacent neighborhood. There is road noise from the highway (an offramp is visible from the park) but it does let up at night. Both High Point and Greensboro are convenient and nearby Jamestown is a neat small town with several restaurants including an oyster bar and a good beer and wine bar / store (Potent Potables).
