Several other nearby campgrounds were closed for the season but Oak Creek was available. A small campground and not big rig friendly. Our 22 foot Class B RV fit in a few of the campsites. The lower loop is just tent sites so don’t drive your RV down there- pretty tight to turn around.
Good campsite, Level asphalt pad

Provides amazing white noise so you can’t hear any of the other campers. There were spaces left at 5pm on a Sunday. We stayed one night and loved it. Only about 5 sites there, running water and a camp bathroom. Super shaded and quiet. No cell service though. Had to drive up the road to reach.

We stayed here on Sept. 11, a beautiful little place not too far off of Hwy 12. There were 2 spaces left and each site was very roomy. It actually got very cold by morning but we just needed to run the heater a few minutes. Seems to be an older campground by the size of the trees. Really pretty little NF campground.
