Level sites, quiet, convenient location. Liked having a camp host around. Electric and shared water. Dump station. Closed when the fair is happening in August. Will stay again.

Stayed here as a base to visit Traverse City and Sleeping Bears Dunes National Lakeshore. Conveniently located to both places.
Grounds were clean and well kept. Not many people camped here so plenty of room and not noisy. Camp host was super friendly!
Like others have said the outside sites have water, all sites have electrical hookups, dump station on site, bathhouse (I didn’t use), and a dumpster on site. Easy satellite connection and Verizon had plenty of speed.
Plenty of room for big rigs. We have a 42 ft RV and it easy to back into sites and maneuver around.
Definitely would stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August of 2022 - to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes & to take our dog to the vet at Banfield. No frills, but water & power at the sites along the fence. Didn’t use the facilities. Simple sites just 90° off of the CG roads. Just grab a site & the nice camphost will let you get set up, then come find you. ... more

There are some permanent RVs here - one with a hot tub & one that is far from level and the doors are always open. Hot tub guy was nice. They had just had the fair here, so there was more trash on the ground than what I would expect. Quite a bit of glass on ground by dumpster, but that might have been because one dumpster was picked up & removed when we were there. Hot tub guy & I picked up a lot of the glass.
A bit of noise from road behind & the BMX bicycle place nearby - which was fun to watch and great to see kids out riding! All in all - no frills, nothing pretty, but a good place to base from!

Traverse City grows exponentially in the summer filling all the campgrounds and highways with tourists, but this campground is on the edge of town away from the hectic life and barely used so very peaceful. The staff is so friendly and helpful keeping the grounds kept up with spotless restrooms. They have a building with ten shower rooms with toilets. All the sites have 30/50 AMP and the ones on the outside of the ring have water spigots per site. The campsites in the center share spigots for every 10 campsites. They have a great dump station conveniently located with easy access. The fair is in August so all temporary campers have to be out by August 1st for the fair campers to come in.

We are now on our 5th note at this RV park and enjoying the National Cherry Festival and the 4th of July. It’s a great base camp to explore this beautiful area. I would recommend this place as it’s clean and quiet. Decent AT&T cell service and the Verizon has 2 bars and a little slow. But it works.

Water, electric, there’s a dump, showers (small but do-able) and wide open spaces to run and play (kids lol). Very laid back feel. A little far from town was the only negative (10-ish miles from Walmart and 15- from downtown Traverse City). Would definitely stay again.
