Quiet out of the way campground. The drive to get here alone is worth the price of admission, up the east side of the mountain with beautiful views looking east. We stayed in site 5 which is right next to the camp host. Other sites up the road look like the have more privacy, though our only neighbor was the camp host. Our site was large and backed up next to a stream. There are no services here and absolutely no cell phone service, so a great place to get off the grid and relax.
I noticed several trailers boondocking in the area outside the campground, but I was glad we were inside the campground. Normal price is $16, but with our Geezer Pass it was only $8 per night.
