Overall Rating
One of the prettiest campgrounds I have ever driven into and kept in perfect condition. Vault toilets immaculately clean, only 15 pitches, quiet, peaceful, rocky access to the lake but do-able. Good privacy between pitches, mix of shade and sun. Good, small gravel road and pitches. Paved road to campground. Zero Verizon coverage.
Open June 1, no reservations, all sites are FF for the summer. Closes September 15.
Other CG's on lake: Smokey Bear & Inlet share their areas with public access. Both are more crowded and larger than North Shore. Smokey Bear is functional but not attractive and Inlet looks to be set in a marsh (mosquitoes are bad enough.)
