Overall Rating

Sites are very well maintained. No hookups. Other than fishing nothing to do. So if that’s what your looking for it will be great. North and south big horn canyon do not connect, if you want to see the scenic portion of the park you need to go to the south, WY side of the park. And since it doesn’t connect it’s a 3+ hour drive.

This is a great place if you are a fisherman as Tomp has stated. If you aren't, there isn't much to do as in town there are at least 5 outfitters or fly shops and that is about it. Nice boondocking on asphalt. Mainly fly fishermen here parked side by side. Quiet by day as they are fishing. Social dinner hour then quiet as they get their fishing sleep. Occasional black bear visitor, sometime rattlers on the tarmac, fox and coyote visit as there are lots of wild pheasant and Hungarian partridge wandering around. ... more
