This campsite is one of the most remote within Tate's Hell State Forest. Road surfaces range from gravel to soft sand and rock. Conditions can vary depending on the amount of rain and may prove challenging at times. There can be low hanging branches, particularly on Billy's Road. There are several options for reaching this campsite - consider speaking to the Tate's Hell ranger office for updates.

From Carrabelle and Hwy 98, take Hwy 67 (Tallahassee Street) north to the turnoff for Gully Branch Road on the left - there will be a sign for the Pine Branch OHV Recreation Area. Continue west for 11.5 miles (past the Gully Branch Day Use area and New River) to North Road. Turn right on North Road and go 4 miles to the dead-end campsite.
