“Decent camping with great fishing”

Overall Rating

We stayed in site 3 for 3 nights over a weekend. It was pretty quiet, but I can see where thay would not always be the case. Site 1&2 are stacked on each other on the side of the hill, and are very close together, while 3&4 are more spread out. Bathrooms were decent, and a quick 2 minute drive to the next campground offers flush restrooms and coin-op showers that were very clean. We were there at the very beginning of the season, so it wasn't crowded, but with the boat docks and launch area being right next to the campsites, I can see where it would get pretty busy later into the season. Site 3 is fairly open with lots of room, but less trees for shade than site 4. Fishing is in the cove about 100 ft from the sites, and my 13 yo caught his limit of trout in a couple of hours each day. Cell service it sketchy at the campsite, but at the top of the dirt road, about 150 yards, there is some 3g.
