I came here a couple years ago boondocking. Had the best memories with an amazing campsite spot. Now they have installed a campground and forbid to camp on BLM land. Only on campsites. We finally made it to the campground, which was nice, but you would have to be prepared to stay and not need to go out again. We didn't stay because we had friends coming and didn't want to put them through that drive.
If only they could grade the road. There is lots of other camping nearby without needing to suffer that drive.
