Very clean, quiet, and peaceful! Excellent view. First night was a little crowded, second night less crowded. Cows grazed close by in the evenings, and the sunsets/sunrises were amazing! Some spots are not very level. We had very high winds. Would definitely visit again!

You are camped right on the edge of a cliff overlooking the grassland and bandlands for miles and just outside the national park. Plenty of spots to park although it did get busy on the weekends. Some sites are level and some are not so the better locations usually go first. All sites have great views so you can't go wrong. Most are separated between pull offs so you get good space between campers and it is very quiet. We were able to capture pictures of big horn sheep, pronghorns, prairie dogs and plenty of buffalo. The wildlife is fantastic.
During our week long stay we experienced some crazy wind, hail and lightning storms. I've never seen so many lightning strikes in such a short time in my life. Nothing that bothered us. It just made the night sky amazing to watch. We easily hit 60mph wind gusts one day and had 1/2" hail. We had no issues but I felt sorry for a couple of tent campers nearby. Despite the crazy weather most days were clear with pleasant temperatures and the bugs were not too bad. We did get a couple mice in our fifth wheel so be prepared to deal with that.
There is a free dump station 18 miles into the park at Cedar Pass Campground. Sign says $1 but it is actually free and has potable water and garbage. Both AT&T and T-Mobile coverage was good with speeds around 15Mbps.
Overall one of our favorite spots!

No access to water or electricity strictly off the grid camping. Road in had a few holes but nothing to worry about I have a 17' and I see some big rigs here. Close to town 7.1 miles from my camp. Takes 10 minutes to drive into the town. The grocery store is a little and quaint. The Wall Food Center is 103 W. South Blvd. in Wall. Great for some stock up supplies. The dump station is close at the Wasta Campground for $5.00 and potable water if your not staying on site.

As you are coming from Wall, the turn in is just before the Badlands National Park Entrance. The road is gravel and dirt which is in fairly good condition when dry. When wet, the road turns into a sloppy mess. If you have a smaller rig with 4 wheel drive, you will be fine. I do not recommend driving in with a large rig when it's wet. There is a T in the road about a quarter mile down. To the right, there are several campsites on the cliff with a small cul-de-sac that allows for easy turning around of large rigs. If you go to the left, there are many more sites along the cliff, but there are only a few spots to turn around a big rig. If you can't turn around, you will come to the main highway and can make the loop again.
There was quite a bit of traffic with people staying one or two days at a time. This is an excellent location since you can get into the park in a few minutes. There were always bison at the park entrance cattle guard. There were plenty of prairie dogs, big horn sheep, antelope and other animals just inside the gates of the park. There is a lot of wind in this location which proved tougher for tent camping.

Awesome! Great views, you can set up anywhere in the grassland! So much space. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for an awesome place to camp.🤠
Looking west you can see the grassland go on for miles and looking west you look over the badlands. The road is a little bumpy but other than that it’s no problem getting to.
