Beautiful area. Some sites lacked privacy but it wasnt too bad. It was pretty quiet for the most part. Some people let their dogs just wonder off their leash into other people campgrounds which isnt cool. Dog on a leash is the rule.

Most sites are reservable, but several first-come-first-serve sites were open when we arrived mid-week in late August. Campground was pretty quiet Tuesday and Wednesday. Got busier and noisier on Thursday afternoon as the weekenders rolled. A couple of inconsiderate camps blared loud music throughout Thursday afternoon, but quiet hours were respected.
Our site (#2) was next to the campground host but not visible to them, or any other campsite for that matter. Generally sites in the upper part of the campground seemed more private. On the lower part of the Eagle loop, a few sites lacked privacy but were still very spacious. Vault toilets were clean, but not lit at night. You're in bear country and food must be inside a hard-sided vehicle over night. Steel food storage bins are provided for tent camping at some, but not all sites.
A short walk through the woods brings you to the lake and day use area. It was beautiful, clear water, if a little chilly. Almost no one on the beach. A minor disappointment was dogs are not allowed on the beach in most areas - instead there's a designated "dog swimming beach" for them next to the boat launch. But the dog beach was very rocky - we had a paw sliced open on a sharp rock.
We hiked a part of the lake trail - very nice. Also did the Noisy Creek trail up to where the trail meets the creek. Quite a steep climb with lots of switch backs, but a couple of good vistas on the way and the creek crossing is a pleasant spot on a hot day.
No cell phone access for T-Mobile or Sprint. Being forced to unplug for a few days was probably good for us, though.
After leaving, we drove up to the north end of the lake to check out the East Sullivan, Sullivan Lake and West Sullivan campgrounds. While those had campsites that were a bit closer to the lake, they seemed busier and less private. I was glad we chose Noisy Creek.

What a nice secluded campground next to the namesake creek and Sullivan Lake. We stayed in a large dirt/gravel backin site with a picnic table and fire ring. There was no OTA signal or cell phone service, which is great if you are looking to get away. No hookups, although each loop has a threaded faucet. No dump either, have to go to Cedar RV Park in Ione. A nice hiking trail around the lake and some nearby exploring. We enjoyed our stay.
