We were in the site 27 which as others mentioned us difficult to back into (we chose it to save $10/night) , so be sure to arrive in daylight for that one. Bath houses are immaculate and the Gorge Trail is breathtaking. $8 admission gets you into the park on the other side of the waterfall - old homesteads, petting zoos, massive playgrounds, and a train which my kids rode almost 10x. Also, the Christmas lights are amazing! We have really enjoyed this campground.

Our site is a full hook up (with water supply on the wrong side). THe pad is concrete that is level and about 55' long. The table and fire ring were in poor condition. This was an overnight stop for us and it suited the purpose. I was talking with a regular camper to this park and he said they will be closing the park next year to rebuild everything. It would be interesting to go through again in a year or more to see the changes.

Campsite run down but hookups worked well. The park is great. Some bike paths. Pool not operational.

Tight spaces, very little room to yourself, smothered by neighbors campfire smoke from all sides. Garbage cans everywhere including in the spot I had. I would avoid this place if you want any semblance of peace and quite.

Decent enough for an overnight stop. BUT do pull in during daylight. Our site C-27 was level but elevated without a bumper stop at the back with a 6” drop off the back of the pad. Decent enough for an overnight stop. BUT do pull in during daylight. Our site C-27 was level but elevated without a bumper stop at the back with a 6” drop off the back of the pad. The laundry room has 2 washers (out of order) and 2 dryers. The campground is in desperate need of renovations; although, the bathhouses are immaculate. There’s a small library to borrow paperback novels, if staying a while. The highlight of the park is the Noccalula Falls which is a beautiful site to see. The city has taken over the campground and am told there are renovations coming in the future. Hopefully soon.

We spent the night there recently, so we’re only there briefly. It’s a very nice campground and well maintained. The facilities are great…pool, laundry’s,etc. The sites are definitely very close together, but it’s quiet and convenient.

Easy access from I-59. Our site was FHU, level concrete pad, very close to neighbors but rear opened to trail and woods. Road is in poor condition but the price was on point. Would definitely stop over again.

Our site was in the center of the park. Is the park new, no, but it really is a good place and less expensive than most. It is owned by the City of Gadsden and hosts the largest waterfall in Alabama along with a park and foot and bike trails.

The campground is older and could use some maintenance, but, the price reflects that. We have a larger 5th wheel, which is also very tall 13’3”. Pull through Site P-1 has a nice pad, but we definitely would not pull through due to washed out gravel on the truck side. But, room to back out. Street lights are nice to have, but try not to get next to one, they are bright!
There are sites on the river side and a nice cul de sac of sites. Some would work for larger rigs. We were in and out on a one night stay, but would come back and stay longer for sure.

Great campground but be warned spots are very close together and roads are washed out and rough. We came in mid February and almost all of the water/electric only (no sewer) sites were available. Sites with sewer were pretty much full. But there is a dump station available which seems rarely used. Showers were clean but I didn’t have much hot water… warm at first then kind of chilly. Great 5G Verizon service. Beautiful waterfall and nature trails of course. Even though there is a map detailing all the trails, when you’re actually on trail it is very difficult to tell where the trail is. There are few signs and small pink flags that are hard to spot. Lots of graffiti :(
