FHU 50A Mostly pull thru, some back in and some parallel park (see more later) Verizon terrible.
WiFi terrible, very spotty. Dropped out constantly sometimes for hours or days. Out for a fifth day now.
Gravel sites and some shade. small amount of spacing between sites.
Fair water pressure 40psi. 24 channels on cable but It has been down for five days now
Firewood for sale $9 a bundle. Wife is rude and nasty, name calling a neighbor for asking a question! Somewhat friendly to the seasonals. Husband is aproachable and freindly
It’s the petty, greedy scams that are the most disturbing.
1...Pay in full 6 months in advance BUT you can only charge 50%, the rest must be paid by check to save on credit card fees by her.
2... Had me pay for a site lock charge on top of rent even thought I reserved a month.
3...Without notice, charged my card for very questionable parking charges(more detail later).
I was drawn to this campground by the parallel parking sites that supposedly allow you to enjoy the grass and open area if you park facing a certain way and not facing the main exit road if you faced the proper way. What you don’t see via google earth or the website is that you have to park backwards. When you park all of the parks hook ups are now on the passenger side and you have to pass all of your hoses and cables etc. under your rv to hook up. This greatly limits your parking options to how long your sewer hose is and then they are right there when you step outside your rv. These sites are the most expensive sites here.
Made reservation on Jan 1st for a month stay in June/July with the wife over the phone. Required 50% deposit at time of reservation but required the other 50% by check within 7 days. Would not allow me to charge it all. She wanted to reduce her credit card charges. So you have to pay in full 6 months before you get there with 2 different forms of payment.
During check in I explained that I was traveling alone for now but had a friend coming up for a weekend and my fiance coming up the week after for 8 days. She acknowledged it with no comment. I was then warned about not placing anything on the grass at the site.
There is a very tight spot on a curve on the one way road to your site that if you are a big rig like me, you are going to brush some trees as other reviewers have pointed out. It runs next to a seasonal site and the occupant parks his truck in a way that makes it tougher to navigate. No way around it. (pic)
A week and a half in I got a notification from my CC company that an unauthorized charge had been made by the campground. I asked the woman co owner about it and she said it was for a car that my friend came up in. I reminded her that I did not bring a car so that would be my allowed car. She thought about it for a minute and then said that it was not my car!!! Really? Are you really that greedy and petty that you make up rules so you can take more money? On top of that she charged for three days instead of the two he was here for.
Web site agreement clearly says each site is allowed 2 people, an RV and one vehicle and that MC’s are not counted as one. It does not say that the vehicle has to registered to the rv owner nor does it say that it must arrive on the same day as the rv. Nor does it say that the 2nd person in your party must arrive at time of check in. (she wanted to charge for an extra person when my weekend friend arrived but her husband stepped in)! I am sure they do not check ownership of others vehicles to match the RV owner. My friend arrived on late Friday morning and left before 9 am on Sunday. An RV is charged for two days under that scenario but she charged for 3. No mention of a partial refund for the outages of WiFi and cable though!
Keep in mind that I brought all of this to her attention upon check in with no comment from her.
Bottom line is that there is nothing special about this park other than it is a small, quiet park with very few amenities but ongoing problems with the cable and WiFi. I keep to myself and really do not care about pools or pickle ball so I was planning to reserve 2 months for next year but because of her petty greed antics, maybe not but there are quite a few parks around here so finding another one will not be a problem. Too bad really as this park is 2/3rds empty most of the time (picture is from a Thursday late June) with mostly seasonals here now who come in on weekends although it does pick up some on weekends. Very loud music from a site the last 3 days well past 10:00. Owner drove right by them on her golf cart.
The extra charges are wrong and you should do the right thing and at least refund for one vehicle for three days and the trailer for one day.

Fire pits are surrounded by tall grass right up to the ring. Overhanging branches on fire rings ad to the excitement.
If you are over 30 feet don't waste your time.
The owner responded to our concerns very rudely. Her own husband told us to go backwards on the one way street as the turns were not suitable for our unit, I add pictures showing the low overhang on the road and narrow streets.
She also fails to mention that when we left we moved the very same sign stanchion that her husband moved out of the way for us on the way in, and she screamed at us like a shrew.

The park is just across from Newfound Lake and near Wellington State Park. We also visited Squam Lake, which is one of the nicest bodies of water we have ever been on. We rented a boat and spent a day there. I would recommend visiting that area if you have time. The pavilion at the park is nice, as well. It has ping pong, pool, and other family activities.
Very quiet area at night.
ourairstreamtrek would stay here again
