We stayed at Finger Lakes RV Resort in Hector, a short drive from Watkins Glen and Ithaca, in search of waterfalls and wine in the Finger Lakes region of NY state. This is a fairly new campground, operated by a friendly husband and wife who show great pride in the condition and cleanliness of every square inch. THINGS I ESPECIALLY LIKED: -...

Huge private lots with plenty of shade from the sun it actually feels like you’re camping in the woods. Most places these days are like parking lots and jam you in like sardines. I appreciate a place like this that has a State Park feel to it.

Super rude owner. Not even sure what I did wrong. I called on Friday 7/5 to ask about a long term stay of two months. Had a seemingly good conversation with Becky who said they had space and she told me the price while simultaneously telling me that the cost of campgrounds in New York are expensive. I said I understand and mentioned for...
