We arrived after city hall closed. So we dumped our tankes and continued on our journey. I wish They would do phone reservations.

The railroad is close by and the area gets a consistent amount of traffic. You can hear the train constantly but that didn't bug us much. I enjoyed the stream nearby and it looked like a good fishing spot. We had an individual that kept coming through our site and close to our rig numerous times and at one point knocked on our door for a cigarette. I wouldn't keep items lying around without supervision in this location. This place has a wonderful frisbee golf area and it weaved throughout the park and next to our site. I would go here again but it would by no means be my first pick.

Open park setting next to a trout stocked stream, rail road tracks and city street. We we're the only occupants during our stay.
Easy check in at City Hall, during normal business hours.
If getting in late, site #5 is unlocked and available for use.
Water and dump station are available.

Parklike setting with mowed grass everywhere, gravel roads and grass sites. Creek and park with playground equipment adjoining. Downtown is nearby, walking distance. Sites have padlocked water spigots and electrical posts so be sure to call first to arrange connection. No alcohol allowed...don't know if that means you can't sit outside... more

Sites have padlocked water spigots and electrical posts so be sure to call first to arrange connection. No alcohol allowed...don't know if that means you can't sit outside and enjoy a beer/wine/drink so ask at City Hall.
Train tracks adjoining the park and around 18 trains pass through per day and two sides of the park have a street and a highway alongside...still, a peaceful spot between trains and commuter hours...

I travel in a converted minivan and the clerk at City Hall had to check with the police station to make sure it was okay that I stay there. A police officer checked my van and said it would be okay since I was staying only one night. There are no bathroom facilities.

We thought about camping here, but called city hall and they said you had to pay during business hours. They closed at 4:30 pm on a Wednesday, so that would not work for us. Did not offer any other alternative. We bypassed town and kept going.
