I can't imagine what one reviewer termed reservation standards but by any standards it ok. Clean, gravel grounds with easy pull throughs, cheap at under $40 and a restaurant and gas next door.It is A ok.

The aforementioned feral dog wont bother you and neither will the woman selling jewelry from her pickup. They are Navajo normal trying to make a living. This right in the middle of the reservation and it is amazing to get what they have here.
The CG is part of a complex which has several amazing buildings fashioned to resemble huge Hogans. The Trading post dates from the 1800's and has been totally renovated. It is 100% better than the roadside variety. The Restaurant is an amazing structure of wood and also is a large hogan. The chandeliers are made of amazing pottery. The food is good and not expensive. Large variety. The staff is friendly. There is a Wind talkers museum and Navajo Museum. I will go there today. Town has a supermarket.
Verizon shows 5 bars but don't expect a lot of data. WiFi is mainly for the hotel so don't expect a signal.
I gave it 4 stars out of respect for the pampered well off folks that expect a lot but here in the desert where the locals work hard to scratch out a living in a beautiful but harsh environment this is heaven

Had to back into our “pull through”. As others mentioned; hookups were so far back we had pull so far back to dump our tanks (reason we paid for full hook ups) we blocked their “road”. Unhooked and only used electric after dumping so we could actually be in our space for the night. While it would be a fine night stop over for a smaller unit, I wouldn’t recommend large rigs. While the stray appeared friendly, I did not let it approach our dogs and felt we couldn’t walk our dogs without it wanting to approach/follow us. We would not stay again as it was a difficult stop for us and inconvenient.

Friendly Staff. Gravel Pull Through But We Have 30ft Rv Pulling Jeep So The Hookups Were So Far Back In Space We Could Only Reach Electrical. Would Have Needed To Unhook Jeep To Park It In Front Of Rv So We Only Used Electrical And Jeep Barely Was Our Of Road. Only Stayed Overnight So It Worked Ok. No View Of Beautiful Surrounding Mtns.

Not much around but great for an overnight and the price was great!
Didn’t use any showers or bathrooms. No dog park or Laundry.

Very clean facilities, nice showers and washroom. A discounted breakfast at the restaurant. We were given a discount because we did not need hookups, tent sites as well as RV sites.

So I had to back up, luckily the site behind me was vacant. There isn't much in the way of gravel or pavement so it will be messy if it rains. The front staff was friendly. It is easy to walk to the several shops or restaurants. Quite a few permanent residents but all were friendly. Also the park does not have WiFi.

We didn’t plan to stay here, but we experienced unexpected brake issues leaving the Grand Canyon North Rim and needed to do a quick brake job. This campground ended up being such a blessing! It is walking distance to AutoZone, a coffee shop, and restaurant. At $34/night for full hookups, it is a great price for the area. Basha’s grocery store is nearby. There are a few long-term residents at this park, but everyone kept to themselves. Our pull-through site was level and clean.
The website isn’t explicit about the RV park. Call the hotel to reserve a spot, and check in at the front desk. The staff is friendly and helpful. (As of fall 2022, masks are still required on Navajo land, please show respect for this community by wearing a mask when asked!)

Stayed here one night on my way to the North Rim GC.
First off, the staff at check in were friendly and helpful.
Second, the campground was very clean and spaced out as best it could with the limited acres it’s on. I was on a poll thru end spot so it did not feel cramped. The campsites are crushed gravel and level. Full hook ups was a nice amenity. Shower & bathrooms (they give you a key that you are charged $10 if you fail to return) are very clean with plenty of hot water. They establish quiet time between 10pm to 8am. Every camper was on their best behavior the night I stayed.
It is now run by the Navajo Nation. Felt very safe here in my Pop-Up.
Would stay here again. Paid $34 for my one night stay.
