Our stay was the nights of September 7 and 8. The campground host was getting ready to close on the 9th for the season. The elevation here is over 9000', so that was understandable. Gorgeous, small campground by the lake. Didn’t have water when I was there but ended up filing up at Duck Creek down the road. Gets quite windy most nights but that’s expected. Great views and a small town nearby if you need anything. Only con was absolutely 0 cell service and noisy generators. Still would recommend!

Fantastic small mountain lake. We brought an inflateable boat And fished. Also biked the single track around the lake. Four night stay. We liked site 13 as it had the best view but it is a double site so it was twice as much as other sites but was worth it to us. No cell service was available.
